SHEER,SEXY PLUS SIZE LINGERIE THAT DOESN'T HURT!

Sheer Baby Doll w/ Embroidered Cups & Underwire Cups, Plus Size

No matter how hot we sexy plus size babes might be, we might be a little shy to show too much skin right out of the gate so to speak. So what’s a voluptuous woman to do when she wants to make her man’s draw drop but keep a little mystery in the moment? The key to leaving some of the good stuff for later and making a fabulous entry in to the room (you know, the moment when your man’s lying in wait on the sofa or between the silk sheets and you know his eyes will be drinking you in?) with all your flags flying is sheer lace, sexy as can be! Sexy baby doll tops for women of size even come with fluffy fur trim that will caress him while he’s caressing YOU. What a grand concept once you grasp that your sexy babydoll pajama set takes care of some of the work to allow you to lay back and suck up all that physical embodiment of affection! Find a babydoll top in just the right length to display your most positive womanly charms.

No mystery there, you say? The trick is to purchase
plus size lingerie that’s been constructed with layers of soft, sumptuous lace that caress your curves and allow enough peeks at the prize to keep things interesting! Did you see the part where I mentioned SOFT lace? Don’t fall for that stiff, scratchy stuff no matter how fabulous your plus size booty looks peeking from under the hem of the matching panties or thong. Hard beads or decorations have no place on your sheer outfits. Your partner doesn’t want to feel like he’s groping through barbed wire to get to the full size sexy, soft skin underneath!

The only hard thing (well one of them) that you might want would be an underwire bra. A fancy sheer plus size babydoll top with a fancy, lace underwire bra underneath is a real visual treat for your partner. Think of it as another layer to peel and enjoy! A larger plus size g-string with additional straps might be a better option than a thong and if the string panty still isn’t to your liking, tap panties are an option.

Here's a plus size fashion tip: If you have the equivalent of this fabulous black strapless dress, don't push it to the back of the rack because it exposes a lot of skin that might get goosebumps on a cold night out clubbing.

PLUS SIZE HALTER TOPS - SEXY, SOPHISTICATED and DOWNRIGHT YUMMY

Satin Halter Top

After taking inventory of my options for using silky, flowing kimono style tops as part of the purrrrfect plus size party outfit over my pretty plus size lingerie, I decided to take a look at the options for real plus size party wear. Not casual tops converted and accessorized to serve as plus size cocktail party attire, but sophisticated, stunning formal shirts and tops that began life with that purpose in mind.

What knocked my eyes out right off the bat (or rack) was this empire waist cocktail top in hot pink satin. Talk about WOW factor! The benefits are that there's some elastic in the back for a better fit, the cups are built in and the jeweled brooch at the center of the breast is tasteful and you won't have to replace it because it looks cheap. If you happen to have a rhinestone pin that you like better in the jewelry box, you could certainly make the switch to a more high end style of adornment. The drawbacks of this top are that not every smoking hot plus size lady likes to display the amount of naked skin that a halter of this style would leave exposed. Plus, the evening might be cool! Layering is the answer to the dilemma and this can be acheived with
  • A plus size shawl
  • Matching Satin Evening wrap
  • A sexy sheer shirt that will cover you but still show your cocktail top to full advantage

The solution would be to find a sheer long sleeve or even a short cap sleeved evening blouse to wear over the halter. The results would be trendy, modest, but still sexy. I have seen evening blouses of this type with rhinestone buttons down the front and on the cuffs. The cuffs and collar might be satin or the sheer fabric doubled to make a sturdy foundation for the button closures.

I WANT PLUS SIZE BABY DOLL TOPS LIKE THE ONES AT ANTHROPOLOGIE

I cruise the Anthropologie website and just love the cool empire waist, baby doll and peasant tops and just know they would fit into my plus size wardrobe perfectly, but no such luck. The pretty deep scoop necks and flutter sleeves don't come in plus sizes large enough to fit my generous, curvacious bustline so I looked elsewhere! TAKE THAT ANTHROPOLOGIE!

Satin Print Kimono

Animal Print Kimono Top

Either of these silky tops would fit the need in my wardrobe for plus size baby doll tops! I can use the wild animal print plus size kimono style top cocktail tops with a pair of strappy black beaded sandals and some wide leg palazzo pants for evening wear. I can see a pair of black jet chandelier earrings setting off those leopard print (or cheetah print?) spots to a T! Can't you?

I love the way the details of these empire waist tops highlights the bosom. The Hey, if you're busty show it off. How many ladies pay expensive prices for surgery to get what we were born with?

PLUS SIZE COCKTAIL DRESS - BLACK GLITTER - Y

Glitter Surplice Dress

Here's an option if you're looking for something pretty, flattering and more fitted than an plus size empire cocktail dress. Wrap style formal evening dresses can be wonderful or they can be disappointing to me. There's something about a wrap waist, surplice bodice knit dress that calls for me to add a shawl. I'm just not that confident or comfortable with just one layer when the fit is that revealing. With this sparkling black number, I would drape my metallic silver evening shawl with the long fringe across my fanny and through my arms and I'm the picture of confidence.

Cynthia Rowley - Sonny (Acciao) - Women's

Here's a close match to the silver evening sandals that the model in the picture is wearing.

Franchi Handbags - Lyssa Silk Framed Clutch W Rhinestone Bow (Black) - Handbags

Here's a black fabric evening clutch bag that I like. I didn't like the way that the purse in the pics didn't have any silver metal showing and yet the models shoes are silver. If you prefer the look of a solid black evening purse, I'd wear black shoes. The reason I chose this rhinestone bag is because it seemed to highlight the black sparkles in the dress and pulled the strappy shoes into the look.

I know that it's trendy to wear light colored footwear to make our legs look long, but there's a lot to be said for the old fashion fashion rule that says never wear shoes in a lighter color than your dress or pants hem. I'd love to hear your opinions on that! Meanwhile, I'm looking for some sexy plus size lingerie to wear under my dress!

WAYS to WEAR and TIE PLUS SIZE SARONGS

Party Girl Top

Party Girl Sarong

No plus size pretty’s swimwear wardrobe should be without a plus size sarong. It’s not only a charming piece of clothing, it’s useful. If you get out of the beach chair and want to go to a nice seaside cafĂ© or restaurant rather than a less casual place to eat, that lovely length of fabric and some sandals might get you a seat when the rules say that no swimsuits are allowed. If you are wearing a bikini and need a top there are ways to wear your sarong that will take care of covering the cleavage and your butt to boot!

Plus size sarongs come in mesh, opaque as well as sheer fabrics similar to that in plus size lingerie. My suggestion is to build a wardrobe of all three! Sarongs are always fashionable. So long as there are women on the beach, there’s the need for a cover or wrap. Sure, you can substitute a big t-shirt or even one of your boyfriend’s cotton button down oxford cloth shirts, but for a cheap price you can be so much more alluring and sophisticated. There are sarongs for men, but it’s my opinion that there are few styles of sarongs that are as appealing as a lady’s sarong worn as a skirt.

A sarong that is chosen to match the style and color of your plus size swimsuit will force wandering eyes to skip over the sand sticking to your behind and admire your voluptuous figure instead. Considering the average man's skin addiction I think that you will see an increase in the number of compliments that you receive wearing your sarong. There's just something very alluring and sexy about the drape of the stretchy fabric and the way it swings when you walk down the beach.
The weight and hand of the fabric is important, but it’s just as crucial to know how to tie your sarong to display all your assets to their sweet full figured advantage.

HOW TO TIE A SARONG

There’s a trick to how to tie a sarong, but it’s not difficult. In fact it’s easy and will only take a few minutes of practice to get the basics of tying your sarong down pat.

TIE YOUR SARONG RIGHT and TIGHT

There are several ways to tie a sarong. First, decide whether you want to wear your sarong as:
  • A dress
  • A skirt

If your sarong will be your primary mode of dress, it’s very important that you tie it in such a way that it won’t fall off and expose your lingerie. No matter how fancy your undies are, you want to make the call on when they are exposed! Right? So, follow the instructions on how to tie and wear the sarongs in different ways and remember to tie those knots tight!

TYING A DRESS SARONG

Wrap the sarong securely around your hips, waist and chest. Your knot will be tied at the shoulder either in the front or back depending on what you want to accentuate! Tuck the ends of the knot end for a finished look or allow the loose ends to flow as an independent layer of decoration. I have seen the fabric ends secured with a jeweled pin or brooch. A beautiful jewel tone silk sarong’s knot might slip as the fabric is slick and difficult to secure, so some insurance might be a good thing no matter how good you are at the art of tying sarongs!

A peek of leg showing through the slit at the front of the sarong might be just the look you want, but if you need more modesty slip some safety pins in from behind to close the gap and hide your legs for the time being.

HOW TO TIE A SARONG AS A SKIRT

As you can imagine, the instructions for tying sarongs to wear as a skirt is easy compared to the more difficult method of tying a sarong to wear as a long or short dress. Either sling the sarong low on the hips (a perfect opportunity to let the top of your thong or bikini peep over the top) or wrap it at your natural waist and then tie your knot to one side. As a finishing touch, twist the material to be certain that the printed side is on top and visible.

In your wildest imagination did you ever dream that there were so many ways to wear a sarong or that it would be so very easy to tie a sarong? Go forth; build a huge wardrobe of sarongs for every occasion from weddings to beach parties!

PLUS SIZE SWIMWEAR on SALE!

Solid CrossBack Plus Size Tank Swimsuit by Speedo® - Conservative Fit

Lightning One Piece Plus Size Tank Swimsuit by Delta Burke®

I know, I just entered some opinions on what I think is the best plus size womens bathing suits on sale or not and here I get the heads up that there are some deep discounts and free gifts and shipping on swimwear for YOU and ME!

You never know what bathing suits are going to be in style for Spring and Summer 2008 but I'll never pass the chance to pick up a classic beach number for a discounted price!

They carry my favorite brands! I love Liz Claiborne plus size stuff so her swimsuits are probably pretty cool, too. I haven't tried Delta Burke's line but would love to read some reviews on fabrics because they are really cute!

ATTENTION! PLUS SIZE PRETTIES are STILL ON THE BEACH and SWIMSUITS are on SALE!

New - It Figures V Neck One Piece Bathing Suit - Style 3602009 - Plus Size Swimsuit - Size 16W-24W

It figures that womens plus size swimsuits are on sale while Cancun's getting blasted by a hurricane of massive proportions, but the good news is that it's HOT on less glamorous beaches as well as the glam tourist destinations.

I enjoy a swimsuit with a pretty ruffled skirt, but women's designer plus size swimsuits have come a long way towards making me feel pretty good about things in a one piece or even a two piece tankini. If I plan to do a good bit of swimming, skiing or other water sports a wet skirt no matter how short has a habit of flapping around. No matter how short the skirt is, the slapping, flapping action will irritate the tops of my thighs and red thighs is not a good look for any chick.

Sheer Cover-up Sarong by Water Water Everywear

The way to avoid all that is to pick one of the one piece designer plus size swim suits and get some matching swimwear like a sexy, seductive sarong to wrap around your hips when you leave the water or a wrap style robe. I love this brown one piece plus size swimsuit with pretty bows to decorate the cleavage. It would be a real shame to cover this baby up at all, but the sheer cover up in chocolate brown would enhance rather than detract from the swimwear! Sheer lingerie is better than bare skin any old day!

ARE YOU WEARING SOMEBODY ELSE'S PLUS SIZE PANTIES?

Dreamgirl Chantilly Lace Open Crotch Lace Up Panties

You can stop yelling that you ran them through the laundry first. What I mean is, are you really wearing the BEST plus size panties for your generous plus size luscious behind? Plus size thongs and thigh high stockings are superb and heavy in the sex department, but are they really the best panty for the heavier goddess? Sure, fleshaddiction is real and we want to flash a little uncovered mama to our men but I have found that g-strings or thin strap thongs don't show my butt off to the best advantage.

I'm not trying to turn you off of thongs or sign you up to wear granny panties. This site is about us goddesses of many pounds looking sumptious, sexy and hot after all. The plus size wardrobe tips that I want to convey is that the same styles don't look good on every body. Dress to suit your shape and of course the season. What do you wear in the summer? Velvet?Plus size models might, but the real women are dressing for the day....and nights.

Oh those nights! Lace-up plus size little boy leg tap panties fit into my plans. I like underpants for play that have a wider band but all the sexy features of a lacy thong. No granny pants for me, but save the strings and skinny straps for the bony chicks.

PLUS SIZE LINGERIE - AN OVERVIEW of FABRICS and CONSTRUCTION - VINYL,SATIN,LEATHER or LACE

My Michelle Plus Size Cami & Robe Set

Plus Size Satin Corset

One issue that I have with most of the plus size lingerie that I have bought is that it doesn't have a really good fit or that the fabric store construction are not substantial enough for the full figured, plus sized woman.
It's my opinion that sexy plus size lingerie should not to put it simply let me down.

This doesn't mean that sexy, sheer lingerie is not for us. Sheer lingerie is just that; sheer. Sheer fabrics should not be expected to give a lot of support. I find that I'm more comfortable using absolutely sheer lingerie to add some mystery (and some teasing anticipation for my man) when layered over more substantial pieces like corsets, bustiers and lacy panties or thongs. Even a floor length caftan in plus size can turn up the heat over other lingerie.Plus size models in the pictures on websites don’t use layering because their purpose is to show a certain pair of panties or bra in detail. But to add to the excitement and length of encounter, add several sexy layers of plus size intimate apparel. Corsets, camisoles and thongs or little boy tap panties with a sheer robe are hard to beat for visual appeal.

If the support of substantial fabrics gives you confidence, silky, slick satin is always feminine and sexy and will hold up like iron! Satin is my fabric of choice when I want a corset, bra or bustier that won’t let the girls down if you catch my drift. Stretchy peekaboo lace that doesn’t have a lot of stretch is good, too. For a real treat when I’m feeling like being just a little kinky and looking good, vinyl and leather has its place. I’ll discuss the use of vinyl, rubber or leather at length later.

BABYDOLL TOPS for PLUS SIZE WOMEN

Flounced Babydoll Pantset

If you've had a hard time finding cute, sexy babydoll tops for plus size women that GIVE CURVES rather than cover them, look no more! This pretty ruffled black plus size empire babydoll tunic will mold to your luscious curvacious body and hold on tight with comfortable stretch fabric. Be still my beating heart from the sheer delight of knowing how all the men will be visually eating you up!

Taryn Rose - Magenta (Black/Dust Suede) - Women's

Here are some shoes that will please the plus size woman who wants nothing more than to be just as stylish as runway models and more!

WHY I LIKE THIS SHOE One reason this shoe is fabulous over any other is that I love the heel. On those special occasions that I'm going to be on my feet a lot, kitten heels just don't turn me on and flats don't look as good. These shoes are sexy (and on sale at a discounted price!) without making me stand on my feet for hours on tiny spike heels. On the other hand, if you will be in a seat where you want your pretty toes to shine, here ae some other sexy heels for the plus size pretty.

Stuart Weitzman - Gloorganza (Black Peau de Soie W/Tulle) - Women's

Lumiani - 911 (Black) - Women's

This shoe is perfect for weddings and formal occasions of any kind or just a trip to church on Sunday when you want a really special pair of dressy shoes that will go with most any church suit.

If you want a jeweled heel strictly for evening use, here's a rhinestone studded thong to die for! This shoe is available in metallic silver as well. You might be tempted to substitute the silver shoe for a black evening sandal or slide, but I would resist the temptation as the continuation of the single shade of black from the ruffled babydoll cocktail top cinched snugly under the breast down to the sole of a sexy black shoe gives a long, lean look to our sumptuous bodies.

Stuart Weitzman - Pretty (Silver Supple Kid W/Silver-Crystal) - Handbags

Elegant Freshwater Pearl Art Deco Chandelier Earrings

Here are the strappy evening shoes that the pretty plus size model is wearing in the pictures! Paint your toes and pick out a pair of large shoulder skimming chandelier earrings (white gold or silver and freshwater pearls would be luscious) and a metallic silver designer evening clutch to complete this wonderful look! Special occasion dresses deserve equally lovely accessories, so once you slip the dress on, don't stop! It never hurts to strategically gild the lily.
